Fantastic news for the Park Inn by Radisson Ostrava, in the Czech Republic, as it earned itself the Responsible Hotel 2018 award for its work in supporting its local community at the Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants Awards.
Held annually during a festive gala dinner, the Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants Awards seeks to reward the efforts of hotels who set an example for others to follow. Through its tireless efforts to assist the local community, deal with environmental sustainability and help those who need it, the Park Inn by Radisson Ostrava has certainly earned the title of Responsible Hotel 2018.
Some of the charitable initiatives the hotel has been involved with include Day of Oncological Kids – a fun afternoon for families with kids who’ve undergone oncological treatment – as well as St. Nicolaus evening, which is a special event to support kids with autism and speech disorders. They’ve also worked closely with the Center of Social Services in Ostrava to organize events for foster families, and even support charity sport events like the Ostrava City Marathon and the ZOO run for animals at risk.
It’s absolutely wonderful to see one of our hotels being recognized for its charitable initiatives and for the work it does in the local community. Congratulations to all of the staff at the Park Inn by Radisson Ostrava for all of their hard work, and for inspiring us all to get more involved with charitable causes.
