Georgia’s first Golden Keys
Congratulations to Otar Bakhtadze of the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, Tbilisi on being honored with the world-famous Golden Keys

We’re proud to share the news that Otar Bakhtadze, Concierge at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, Tbilisi, has been honored with the first awarding of Les Clefs d’Or (the Golden Keys) in Georgia.

The Les Clefs d’Or is a prestigious union that brings together the most dedicated and skillful concierges from all over the world. Each of them follows the motto, ‘Service through friendship’, and the organization recently held its Annual Meeting in Sochi, Russia, where it welcomed its newest members.

This year, candidates from 60 hotels took part in a contest that saw them all present a variety of creative projects. Ten lucky winners were then honored with their very own Golden Keys.

Otar was delighted to have the chance to take part and presented an interesting project named `Path Sakartvelo` - which featured a puzzle based on a map of Georgia.

“Georgia is a small country, but unique for its variety of culture. Our country attracts tourists from all over the world and offers them unforgettable experiences,” explained Otar. “Considering this, I decided to make a project of a Georgian map puzzle, offering the experience to feel like a local Georgian. This is not just a simple puzzle, but it is a product consisting of 12 pieces - eleven of them are regions and the twelfth piece is Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. With each piece you insert, you get closer to having Georgia in the palm of your hand.”

To make his project even more interesting, Otar connected it to a tour for guests. As part of a unique experience, guests will be required to perform a quest that’s relevant to Georgian culture, capture it on a photo and show it to the concierge. In return, the guest then receives the puzzle `Path Sakartvelo` as a gift.

We’re absolutely delighted to see Otar succeed and become a prestigious member of the Golden Keys. It’s well-deserved recognition for his dedication to creating memorable moments. Please join us in congratulating him on this wonderful achievement.
